Obviously photoshopped

Adilson Adilson

it's not photoshopped, in the web site of Atlas we can see that this part os the book really exists. But we still need the second page.

Nice try, anonymous guy from the March has 32 Days thread . . .  Indeciso

Adilson Adilson

I agree... why is there someone trying to make us believe that this is false?? Did anyone noticed the banner in the top of blog? "DISCOVER THE SECRET" What secret must be discovered? This text doesn´t seen to belong to the magazine...

Adilson Adilson

It's me again... i noticed something now... Why does your blog, Mr Lurgis, have no entries and was created a few time ago?? Or are you planning in make another Lost Blog with the serie's informations?
I am a real user, any doubt, mail me (aosanar@hotmail.com)

Adilson Adilson

Yeah!! here is the second page! thank you guys, the trained monkey is working a lot in this weekend..kkkkk!

Well a big thankyou to you guys for posting all of it! What are your thoughts on the anonymous blogger.

For the record are you guys affiliated with the Lost Alternate Reality game at all?

The Travelers story only has superficial links to lost - we are visited by time travelers but don't notice them - a bit like Richard Alpert or Abadon.

So long and thanks for all the comics. Was it worth the bother in your opinion?

B. Astard B. Astard

Now.. the back cover page please thanks Risa

Jeffers Jeffers

These guys are playing us.   This is a photoshopped version of "The Traveler" from Mystery Tapes #46.   This is NOT from Mystery Tales #40!

Steven Luce Steven Luce

"This is a photoshopped version of "The Traveler" from Mystery Tapes #46.   This is NOT from Mystery Tales #40!"

Nice try Jeffers ... its obvious the story is referring to a husband and wife travelling pair and not a singular traveler. No longer posting as Anonimo?

Cacpom Cacpom

Thanks a lot for scanning the comic and sharing it with your fellow LOST fans! Much appreciated. :-)

maven maven

Thanks for scanning everything and making some very bored LOST fans happy!  Much appreciated.

Well, I don't know whether it has any merit but Mystery Tales 46 does, in fact, have a story titled "The Traveler": http://www.atlastales.com/sI/2904

No way of knowing the contents of either.

Thanks for the scans guys.
It looks like anonimo/jeffers had us all excited about "the travelers" for nothing. The question now is how does this all tie in with the ARG??

Adilson Adilson

By now, it doesn't tie in the ARG, but has all sense in the context of the show. all the stories in the magazine have some elements of LOST. but Anonimo raised a good question: Isn't it photoshoped from the magazine #46 (the Traveler)? the code in the baseboard is right, J-219,while the code of THE TRAVALER (#46) is H-203, but if it's guide code, why doesn't appear in the first page os the story but in the second??

where is the story mentioned on the cover??

Jeffers Jeffers

My name is  Jeffers, not anonymo!

These guys are photoshop experts just look at how they scanned the comic and translated everything to spanish (look here for proof!)

Not that I blame them since they were threatened but they are doing everything they can to not get sued.  But to take another story and try to pass it off like this is a bunch of crap.

I think the story about the plane on the cover has to be the travelers and these guys are screwing with us.

And how Jeffers/Anonymo did they manage to get hold of Mystery Tales 46? As soon as the lawyer called did they somehow know that Mystery Tales 46 has a story called the Traveller, and then somehow found a way to get this rare comic? You're dreaming buddy.
Like I said before the story concerns a time travelling couple, no a singular Traveler. What's next - are the crazy spaniards responsible for faking the moon landing and standing in the grassy knoll while JFK gets shot.

Wow!  Thanks guys for the final scans!!  This has been most intriguing to read and discuss, both on this site and at Lostaholics!

I don't believe for a second that this story is the same as the one in #46, although that one would be a great story to read too, I bet.  It used to be that certain comics shared stories or had two stories that went together, but it never happened with the same brand of comic.  It was always two different ones and it was planned that they run together during the same month if the stories went together.  I don't think this is the case with The Travelers and The Traveler.  I think it's just a case of similar titles.

Thanks again, guys!!  Tell the monkey that we appreciate all his hard work!  :)

Jeffers Jeffers

Whoever's threatened them supplied it.  Short and simple.

Capcom Capcom

I dunno, the Spanish version doesn't look anywhere near like an original version. It looks typed over, not authentic. I don't see a mystery there. Elsewhere, yes, but not there. :-)

Yes, thank you Mr.Monkey!

Hey Jeffers, ever considered that the 32nd day of March would actually be the 1st April...so who's the fool?

Jeffers Jeffers

Halo,

I considered giving you  a little gold star for your attempt at humor but in the end I decided it sucked, and so do you.

halo9672 halo9672

awww jeffers, i was just kidding man...this is just a game after all.

peace and good luck looking for real clues.

Jeffers Jeffers

I was just kidding you back.

Sob ... I'm sorry too. I was a bit grumpy at Jeffers cause I spent a whole morning trying to suss out that Anonymo hoax and got totally hood winked by it!!!

This is just a game, believe what you will. We all love a really cool tv show!! For all I know this whole website could be part of the game and I can see how people look at the scanned in pages and the rectangular box effect and can see it as photo shopped.  To each his own.

Once again, some sincere apologies.

Peace out

Peter Ian Stakers Peter Ian Stakers

LOST Ending is in the comic cover's story

they did the right thing by not scanning+post it

otherwise you all will be spoiled!! :D

Jeffers Jeffers

I said this before but it apparently fell on deaf ears:

I am not anonymo.

A lost fan who is also a conspiracy theorist?  That has to be a first!
